SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) is a Yale-developed and extensively researched protocol for treating childhood anxiety. The program helps parents identify accommodations for anxiety and provide more effective support for anxiety symptoms. I'm honored to have personally trained with the creator of the program, Dr. Eli Lebowitz, and I provide SPACE through group and individual coaching. I offer both individual training and group training for this program. To learn more about SPACE and the research behind it, please visit https://www.spacetreatment.net
The SPACE program requires ten (10) consecutive 60-minute sessions. We begin with the completion of a comprehensive intake packet, which you complete online. Then, we meet weekly or bi-weekly to work towards skill mastery. In each session, we will discuss concrete tools for child and parent toolboxes and specific steps to reduce accommodations and increase support.

For families who value peer-to-peer support along with clinical support, the group SPACE training runs 3 times per year and each cohort meets for ten (10) weekly 60-minute virtual classes to learn the same skills in a shared setting with other parents with similar concerns.
For individuals who prefer intensive education and support in a more private setting, SPACE can be completed through individual coaching. Virtual sessions are done through a HIPAA compliant video software. Our work through SPACE can begin at any time throughout the year.
